German born, PA raised, Bufford started receiving awards in music as a child and went on to attend Berklee in Boston and Rutgers. He has studied with Philly Joe Jones, Larry Ridley, Kenny Barron among others andworked with music icons from Madonna to The Duke Ellington Orchestra. He has been in Broadway pit bands and served as Music Director for more than 1000 events including Norman Lear 80th Birthday Celebration, 2001 Presidential Inauguration Gala, the Michael Jackson Tribute. Bufford has also composed for film and TV including Sesame Street, Bernie Mac Show & Martin.
Baltimore native, guitarist Charlie Sigler has been active member of the music community since high school. A graduate of William Paterson U with a B.A. in Jazz Performance, Charlie has performed with many greats of the music including Winard Harper, Harold Mabern, Eric Alexander, Myron Walden among others. He has performed at clubs and festivals throughout the region. Charlie's band will include Akiko Tsuruga on organ, Winard Harper on drums.
