12th Annual MADISON HOLIDAY ARTS FESTIVAL
WHEN: Friday, November 24th and Saturday, November 25th, 2017—34 events in 11 Venues from noon until the traditional Santa Parade comes down Main Street on Friday, and from 1:00 – 5:30 on Saturday.
WHERE: Musicians, dancers and artists will be featured throughout the borough of Madison
ADMISSION: This event is free and open to the public.
This once a year celebration is held rain or shine. Folks can stroll through the town, shop for holiday gifts, dine at Madison’s unique eateries, see art and exhibits at the museum and in shops. Relax, meet friends, and experience art!
“We have put together a variety of events all within walking distance of each other,” said John Pietrowski, Festival Organizer. On Friday, you can spend the afternoon listening to Classical Music at Grace Episcopal Church, the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts, and Harvest Bistro. We’ll have singers/songwriters and local bands at Drip Coffee, Short Stories Bookshop, Poor Herbie’s Pub, and The Hat Shop. Dance Innovations will be performing scenes from
The Nutcracker at Studio Yoga, and the evening will wrap up with a command concert by Jazz Pianist Jerry Vezza at Shanghai Jazz.”
“On Saturday we scale back a bit, with classical music Grace Church, and singers/songwriters at Drip, Short Stories, and Harvest Bistro.”
In addition there will be art exhibits concurrently running in Madison at Short Stories Bookshop (The Small Works Holiday Show) and Drip Coffee. The Museum of Early Trades and Crafts current offering-- “Spark! The Explosive and Dirty History of Light—will be open to the public during regular museum hours.
