Join artistic director, violinist Sharon Roffman, and friends, for an evening of music from central Europe, featuring music by great Czech and Hungarian composers of the 19th and 20th centuries.  The concert features trios written in the Terezin concentration camp by Hans Krasa and Gideon Klein.  Though neither survived the camps, their music did. Also including works of Antonin Dvorak, Zoltan Kodaly, and Ernst von Dohnanyi. With guest artists, Dov Scheindlin, viola; and Clancy Newman, cello.

Violinist Sharon Roffman, prizewinner in the 2003 Naumburg Foundation International Competition, made her solo debut with the New Jersey Symphony in 1996. Since then, Ms. Roffman has forged a unique career distinguished by her versatility; she is equally sought after as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral leader and music educator.
Dov Scheindlin is a member and Artistic Director of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and an Associate member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. He has been violist of the Arditti, Penderecki and Chester String Quartets.
Cellist Clancy Newman, first prize winner of the prestigious Walter W. Naumburg International Competition and recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant. He is both, a performer and a composer.
