EXCITING EVENTS PLANNED FOR LIBERTY HALL THIS FALL

Revolutionary Woods: Six Terrifying Tales from the American Revolution 

WHEN: Fridays & Saturdays, October 21 & 22 and 28 & 29; 7 p.m. with groups leaving every half hour; last group leaves at 11:30 p.m.
COST:
$20 per person.

For the first time ever, Liberty Hall Museum opens its grounds at night for a truly scary walk through the woods! Enter if you dare and you’ll experience six terrifying tales from the American Revolution but be careful, rumor has it that these Revolutionary ghosts wander the woods. 

Pumpkin Patch Day

WHEN: Saturday, October 29 (Rain Date: Sunday, October 30), 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
COST:
Children: $12.00, Adults: $8.00, Under 3: Free
Additional charge for pumpkins; lunch available for purchase from vendor. Reservations suggested, call 908-527-0400.

Join us for our Annual Pumpkin Patch day – a fall tradition for so many families! Enjoy a day filled with pumpkin picking, hayrides, pumpkin carving and painting, corn maze, crafts and much more!

Christmas Tours at Liberty Hall Museum

WHEN: Christmas tours begin Friday, November 25 and will continue through December 30. Monday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tours leave every hour.
PROGRAM FEE:
$12 for Adults; $10 for Kean Alumni; $8 for Seniors & Children (3-17).

Liberty Hall will transform the first floor of the museum into a time machine where visitors will enjoy five childhood favorite board games, such as Clue, Candyland, and Monopoly, experienced through Christmas decor! This Christmas tour will be the final extravaganza to our Toys Through Time: The History of American Fun exhibit! A tour not to be missed!

Murder Mystery at the Museum!

WHEN: Saturday, November 26, 4 p.m., 6 p.m. or 8 p.m. 
COST: $40  person.

Come solve the Murder at the Museum in this live action version of the game Clue! You’ll be transported back in time to the year 1932 as you try and solve the murder of Mr. Fredric Ericson, a visitor in the Kean household.  Will you be able to piece together the clues before anyone else?

Criminally good refreshments will be served after the game.

Gingerbread House Workshop

WHEN: Saturdays, December 10 & 17 at 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
COST: $20 for one child & one adult; all additional adults are $5.

Candy canes, gumdrops, and peppermint, oh my! Children get to decorate a unique gingerbread house, a perfect treat for the start of the holiday season. We provide the materials including lots of candy & icing, and you go home with a marvelous gingerbread creation to enjoy throughout the season! 

Christmas Candlelight Tours

WHEN: Saturdays, December 10 & 17, 7 p.m. & 9 p.m. 
COST:
$20 for adults, $15 for seniors & LHM members, $10 for children. Reservations required by December 5, call 908-527-0400

Join us for a special candlelight tour of the first floor decorated for Christmas!   Hot chocolate and donuts will be served following the tour.

Breakfast with Santa

WHEN: Sunday, December 18,  9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
COST: $25 per child; $30 per adult.

Naughty or nice – all are welcome when Liberty Hall hosts Breakfast with Santa. Our hot breakfast buffet will fill you with Christmas cheer and put you in the holiday spirit. Then take a photo with the jolly old man himself in Santa’s sleigh.
