"It's cutting-edge theater that one would normally need to 'go over the GBW' for, right here in central Teaneck," said artistic director Matt Okin.

The Pillowman is a dark comedy about the interrogation of a fiction writer, in an unnamed totalitarian state, whose gruesome Brothers Grimm style short stories have eerie similarities to local horrific child murders.

Featuring Laura Alba, Haia Bchiri, Sam Cancelarich, Huey Esquire, Nate Murphy, Nava Plaut, and Jeffrey Roth.

With set design and lighting design by Frank Avellino, and Gerard Bourcier. The production stage manager, costume and special effects designer is Haia Bchiri; and Yonatan Gordon is the stage manager.

The Pillowman plays the following performances:

  • Thursday, April 7th at 8pm
  • Friday, April 8th at 8pm
  • Saturday, April 9th at 9pm
  • Sunday, April 10th at 7:30pm
  • Thursday, April 14th at 8pm
  • Friday, April 15th at 8pm
  • Saturday, April 16th at 9pm
  • Sunday, April 17th at 7:30pm

Tickets may also be purchased at the venue.
