Mother Goose n' Craft
NEW Date & Time! Mother Goose is an excellent way to promote literacy among our preschool-aged patrons. Picture books, flannel board stories, songs and puppets are used to build upon children’s natural enthusiasm for books and reading. Each session will end with a simple art experience for little ones. Children of all abilities welcome.

In addition, we will also offer various board games such as, Don’t Wake Daddy, Creationary, LIFE, Clue, Connect 4, Operation, Twister, Mancala, Chess and Backgammon to those who prefer to play traditional board games. Teen Advisory Board Meeting
The Teen Advisory Board is busy preparing for the winter season! Join us in finalizing plans for our Drop-in Wii and Board Games, Passport to Flavor: Destination Greece, and of course KORT! We will be looking forward and discussing our brilliant ideas for the months of February. The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) of the Montclair Public Library meets the first Wednesday of each month, September-May. TAB members receive community service hours for participating. Passport to Flavor: Destination Greece
Did you know that Greece is a Mediterranean country made up of a mainland and over 2,000 islands? Of these islands, only 151 have people living on them. This month we visit Greece and will be enjoying simple, hearty meals. Join us as we learn how to make gyrous me kototoulo (pita with chicken) with tzaziki sauce, horiatiki salata (Greek salad), and yaourti me fraoula con meli (yogurt and honey with strawberries).
