The Boys Next Door is a poignant play about Arnold, Norman, Barry and Lucien, four men with various mental disabilities, who live in a group home supervised by a sincere but burned out social worker named Jack. In their daily lives little things sometimes become momentous and often funny, along with moments of great poignancy when, with touching effectiveness, we are reminded that the handicapped, like the rest of us, want only to love and laugh and find some meaning and purpose in the brief time that they, like their fortunate brothers, are allotted on this earth. [Above: Barry (PJ Campucci) has a discussion with social worker Jack (played by Eric Randall) in front of Mr. Kemper (Christopher Hall) at the group home.]

Target audience for this play is teenager-adult for November 12th -14th.

Our co-sponsors are TD Bank and the Holland Township Education Association (HTEA). A portion of all proceeds will go to fund educational scholarships through the HTEA.
