Starring Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, The Producers opened on Broadway in 2001, and ran over 2,500 performances, spawning various productions around the world.

Director-choreographer Nicole Ceballos, who choreographed Gypsy and Hairspray at APAC in the past, is excited to be working with this young and energetic cast, "The energy in the rehearsal room is explosive. Our Max (Roman Sohor) could be the love-child of Zero and Nathan, and every time Leo (Danny Peterson) walks onstage it's very difficult not to crack up.

Watching the two of them work with our very sexy and funny Ulla (Kate Pentek) makes me very happy. This is a dream cast, and I'm thrilled to be directing alongside the crazy-talented production team here at APAC."

Springtime for Hitler, written by Mel Brooks for his 1968 cult classic, may still be the score's best-known number and one of the reasons to come to the Axelrod Performing Arts Center (APAC) for The Producers. Sung by Perry-nominated David Smolokoff (Tony from West Side Story), Springtime for Hitler never sounded so glorious.
