A Winter's Tale is a comedic favorite thick with love, jealousy, hidden identities, new beginnings—and a famously ravenous bear!
King Leontes is not above petty jealousies and has the power to exact punishment on those he believes have wronged him. Along with elements of psychological drama, A Winter’s Tale entertains with songs, dances, a disastrous shipwreck, a living statue, romance and lovers torn apart. In short, Shakespeare fans will find everything they could ask for in this five-act comedy that is ultimately a story of redemption and forgiveness.
Directed by Frank Erath and Janet Quartarone, the show’s cast includes Andrew Timmes of Lawrenceville as Leontes; Sarah Stryker of Princeton as Hermione; Ray Fallon of Westwood as Polixenes; Curt Foxworth of Hightstown as Camillo; Kyla Marie Mostello Donnelly of Newtown, Pa., as Paulina; Aaron Wexler of Philadelphia, Pa., as Antigonus; Zakir Zaidi of Princeton as Mamillius; Vianna Fagel of Lawrenceville as Emilia; Ernie Albanesius of Chesterfield as Autolycus; James Bloss of Marlton as Cleomenes; Jack Bathke of Robbinsville as Dion; Tara Mershon of West Amwell as Perdita; John Eldis of Ewing as the Shepherd; Michael Krahel of Hillsborough as the Shepherd's brother; and Steven Munoz of Ewing as Florizel.
