Jon (Age range 28-33, Tenor): A struggling composer, Jon is struggling to find what is most important to him. Pressure to make money, settle down with his girlfriend, and become successful as a writer mount as his 30th birthday nears. He is vibrant around his friends but introverted elsewhere. He is keenly aware of his talent but not in a cocky way.  (Basic piano skills are a plus.)

She is exploring the idea of moving out of New York and starting a family. She is seeking the security and comfort that her current relationship is lacking. Michael (Age range 28-33, Baritone): Jonathan’s best friend from childhood, Michael is warm, funny and kind. He is outgoing and brings much joy to Jonathan’s life. Michael is incredibly successful financially and uses his newly found success and wealth to try and assist Jonathan. (This actor also plays other minor characters in Jon’s life.)
