Family Stories
WHEN: MONDAYS, 10-11:30 AM
WHERE: Mondo, 426 Springfield Ave., Summit
Children and grandparents, mothers and daughters, fathers and sons - each generation longs to share and preserve the stories of their life experience. In this multi-generational workshop, family pairs will work together to record the memories of the past.
Advanced Creative Nonfiction
WHEN: MONDAYS, 7-9 PM
This workshop is open to writers working on one or more nonfiction projects. Memoir, essay, journalism, how-to, criticism, biography, service, business, Op-Ed, travel, and more nonfiction forms are welcome
This class is by INVITATION ONLY - please submit work to be considered.
Sci-Fi/Fantasy
WHEN: WEDNESDAYS, 7-9 PM
Learn to write stories and novels in one of the most popular genres in publishing today! Guest Instructor Paul Witcover, a Nebula Prize finalist, will give you a grounding in the basics of speculative fiction as well as critique your works in progress.
The Poets Circle
WHEN: WEDNESDAYS, 7:30-9 PM
Appropriate for both new and more experienced poets, the goal of this circle is to support the growth and development of each poet's unique style and poetic vision.
