Eric has worked in various mediums over a lifetime of personal and professional study, but in recent years has relied on watercolors to capture his impressions in color and gesture.
A destination painter of sorts, trips to New England, the West Indies, and Europe provide Eric with natural scenes and quiet vignettes of people at work, play and rest. Whether guests at an English country pub, two ancient men in a Jamaican infirmary or a woman enjoying a reflective swim, Eric hopes to document his subjects in a specific mood, place and time.
Eric has a degree in illustration from Parsons The New School of Design. He has participated in one-man and group shows in New York, Detroit, St. Louis and Washington, DC. Eric is presently a member-artist at Artists' Gallery in Lambertville, New Jersey.
