A New York City high school student gets arrested for “sexting” her boyfriend. What her parents, the school and the prosecutor don't understand is that this is true love, and she doesn’t understand to what lengths she’ll have to go to prove it.

Michele’s play, THE TEXT OF SEX was read November 2011 at New York City’s Soho House and given a workshop with the American Academy of Dramatic Arts New York Company, January 2012. Her play, THE BABY GAME, received a reading June 2011 as part of Penobscot Theatre’s Northern Writes Festival in Bangor, Maine. 31 BOND, Her historic murder mystery, was originally produced at The Brooklyn Lyceum, NY, and took part in the NAAA Playreading Festival at the Soho Theatre in London, England. Her play, ADVANCED WOMEN, is the 2009 winner to the Todd McNereny Playwriting Prize from the College of Charleston and received a reading at the 2010 Piccolo Spoleto Festival; ADVANCED WOMEN was also invited to the 2010 Great Plains Playwriting Conference in Omaha, NE. As a finalist for the W. Keith Hedrick Playwriting Contest in October 2009, ADVANCED WOMEN was given a staged reading at HRC Showcase Theatre in Hudson, NY. In November 2008, ADVANCED WOMEN took part in the New Moon Reading Series at Luna Stage Company, NJ. Her drama, DEAR AMERICA, premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival 2006. Her comedy, THE PROGRAM, also premiered in FringeNYC 2007. With composer/lyricist, Keith Gordon, Michèle wrote an original musical, LITTLE MARY (book), which participated in Dixon Place’s Warning: Not For Broadway in November 2006 and is a finalist for this summer’s O’neill Conference. Michele’s screenplay 11 MONTHS, is the winner of the Alfred P. Sloan Award; her screenplay, THIS SWEET EARTH, was a finalist in the Moondance International Film Festival.
