No suitor can win lovely Bianca 'til her older sister, "Katherine the Curs’d," is married off as well. Fresh from directing the "exemplary" production of Sweeney Todd at the Count Basie last fall, Tom Frascatore brings to the HTC a dynamic reimagining of Shakespeare's most biting romance. Set amidst the long summer afternoons and garden parties of the Edwardian era, the first show of the 2012 season is sure to shed fresh light on courtship, gender roles, and, of course, the crackling, battling wits of Katherina and Petruchio.

This production features Steve Barlow, Tom Cox, Cody Dalton, Gina Delio, Dennis Fitzpatrick, Claire Gates, Alison Gleason, Justin Grossman, Kevin Karol, David Murray, Candy Predham, Dan Rosen, Mary Russell, Rick Selterman, Lauren Valasa and Heather Wright.
