When Leonard Vole, a charming, naïve young man, is arrested for the sensational murder of a rich, middle-aged widow, the famous barrister (lawyer) Sir Wilfrid Robarts agrees to appear in court on his behalf.  Vole's only alibi is his wife, Romaine, a calm and cold foreigner. The barrister for the prosecution, Myers, finds a hook to have Romaine testify not for the defense but for the prosecution, creating a most disheartening situation. True to Agatha Christie’s engaging plots, there are twists and turns that will leave the audience gasping.

Produced by Mark Peterson. Tara Freifeld is Stage Manager.  Costumes by Maryann Irizarry. This production is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
