WHEN: Saturday, May 28, 1:00 - 3:30 PM
WHERE:
Fosterfields, 73 Kahdena Road, Morristown
ADMISSION: $6 for adults, $5 for seniors (65+), $4 for children ages 4 to 16, and $2 for children ages 2 and 3. At the Fosterfields Farmhouse, learn how the home front supported WWI. See how Americans conserved food, rationed supplies, rolled bandages, and made “care packages” for the troops. Recipes were adapted because of the rationing, and women worked in the fields and gardens to grow more food. People also helped by purchasing Liberty Loans.

At 1:30 PM and 3 PM, join award-winning poets David Messineo and Susanna Rich as they present original and historic poetry about World War I.
