Gauguin's Paradise Remembered: The Noa Noa Prints
WHEN: Friday,
November 5, 7 PM
WHERE: Princeton Art Museum, Princeton University campus, Princeton

Come sail away to paradise! Join GenNEXT for an evening of South Sea delights at the Princeton University Art Museum, in celebration of Gauguin's Paradise Remembered. The evening will feature exotic tropical cocktails and snacks, a themed scavenger hunt, raffle prizes, and more—all while surrounded by the Museum’s breathtaking, world-class collection.

Created by Paul Gauguin (1848-1903) following his first Tahitian voyage, the Noa Noa woodcuts idealized the myth of an untainted Polynesian paradise. Primitive in style and printed by hand, these experimental proofs remain one of the most innovative print series produced by a nineteenth-century artist.

GenNEXT ticketholders will have exclusive, private access to the exhibition and the Museum on the night of the event.

  • Party and scavenger hunt begin at 7 PM.
