A Great Big Miracle is Ben H. Winters' smart, joyful, and just a little bit irreverent take on the story of Hanukkah. It's got Judah Maccabee—the random shepherd who becomes a virtuous warrior, wicked King Antiochus and his really mean army. And yes, it's got the whole candle and the eight nights thing. Narrated by a pair of Borscht Belt sheep, it's the Hanukkah story like you've never seen it before!

Join the Juilliard Jazz Ensemble with featured guest vocalist Alicia Olatuja and saxophonist Ron Blake in performance to help usher in the holiday season. Classics such as Let it Snow, Jingle Bells, Little Drummer Boy and other selections will be performed with a Juilliard Jazz twist. McCoy Tyner's blues-based piano style, replete with sophisticated chords and an explosively percussive left hand has transcended conventional styles to become one of the most identifiable sounds in improvised music. His harmonic contributions and dramatic rhythmic devices form the vocabulary of a majority of jazz pianists. Tyner has released nearly 80 albums under his name, earned four Grammys and was awarded Jazz Master from the National Endowment for the Arts in 2002.
