Support an Eagle Scout Project at the Brook Arts Center

NOTE: THIS WAS MY THEATER WHEN I WAS A KID GROWING UP IN BOUND BROOK!

 Brook Arts Center

Dear Friends of the Brook Arts Center,

We are reaching out today with an exciting opportunity to support one of our dedicated volunteers as he works toward achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Bobby Mills, a member of Spotswood Troop 35, is a hardworking Scout leading a project to restore the theater’s original ticket booth that once served as the gateway to the Brook Arts Center—where countless patrons purchased tickets to unforgettable performances.

Sadly, the original booth was irreparably damaged many years ago after decades of exposure to severe weather and the flooding that plagued Bound Brook in the past. Through this restoration project, Bobby hopes to bring an important piece of the Brook Arts Center’s history back to life while demonstrating the skills and leadership required for his Eagle Scout achievement.

We are currently seeking monetary donations to support this meaningful project. Contributions to the project can be made payable to the Brook Arts Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and 100% volunteer-run organization. Your donation is tax-deductible, and no amount is too small—every dollar will help this Scout complete his project and preserve a piece of our beloved arts center.

This project is especially significant to our Scout, who has dedicated many hours to making it a reality. As he prepares to enter an engineering program this fall, this restoration effort is not only a step toward his Eagle Scout rank but also a testament to his passion for design, history, and community service.

We would greatly appreciate any support you can provide. Thank you for helping us bring a part of the Brook Arts Center’s history back to life and for supporting a young leader on his journey to Eagle Scout.

Warmest regards,

Brook Arts Center

Bobby Mills, 17

is currently a Life Scout with BSA Troop 35, Spotswood, working towards the rank of Eagle Scout.  Currently in his Senior year at Spotswood High School, Bobby will be pursuing a mechanical engineering degree after graduation this spring.

A Junior-year inductee of the National Honor Society, Bobby has demonstrated exceptional academic dedication, earning honor roll recognition every year since he started school. Outside of school and the Scouts, Bobby has been an avid baseball player since the age of 3.  His passion for the game has remained strong and he continues to compete at a high level.
