Hikers: Spring Plants

This program for older homeschoolers features a hike
on the rugged trails of Pyramid Mountain with a nature lesson
along the way! It's a chance for older kids to cover some ground
on hikes of approximately 3 miles while learning something new.
In this session, we will explore the new emerging plants of the
forest to learn about them and welcome the spring.
For ages 8 & up, cost: $15 per child.

Centuries of Hearth Cooking:
Kids and Families Mini-Workshop
March 22
Explore the history of American cuisine, cooking
methods and food customs over an open-hearth fire. Each month
this Winter, we explore a different period of American life
through the recipes and cooking techniques of 17th, 18th and 19th
centuries. This month, we are preparing, sampling and sending
home a dish from the 17th century. Our morning session is
intended for adults with some cooking experience

Learn what seeds need to grow and decorate a see-through planter
