Are you an artist
looking to transition into teaching? Whether you’re a college student, a
career-changer or a creative professional eager to share your artistry,
NJPAC’s Teaching Artist Certificate program is designed just for you!
This five-week, in-person summer program offers comprehensive training in
justice-oriented arts education pedagogy and teaching best practices.
This program is
perfect for:
- Artists
new to the field of teaching artistry (college students, career
changers or those with a creative practice).
- Those
who need foundations in educational methods, teaching strategies and
business practices to build a sustainable career.
- This
program is not for experienced teaching artists — it’s for those
looking to start fresh in arts education.
Through expert-led
training, hands-on experience and a recognized credential, you’ll gain the
tools to bring your artistry into classrooms, community spaces, and beyond.
Want to learn more
about the Teaching Artist Certificate program? Need advice on how to
prepare your application materials? Join us for a virtual information
session on March 10 at 4PM where you can ask your questions live and
direct. RSVP here.
If you have any questions, please contact Shan Pulusan at spulusan@njpac.org.
