Kafka in Brooklyn
This adaptation of Franz Kafka’s Metamorphosis takes place in present day
Brooklyn, NY. When Greg wakes up unable to move, he
realizes the change that has taken place in his body is the result
of years of compromising and giving up on his
dreams. The expectations at his job are overwhelming. His
wife, Bonnie, is focused on her own job responsibilities and
family’s financial crisis. His friend, Buddy, tries to
help, but ends up enabling Greg’s condition to progress to a deeper
level. Greg escapes, only to find there is a long road
back to himself.
