Introducing The
New Contemporary
The
New Contemporary is a collective of
composers dedicated to creating innovative, accessible, and engaging
works that resonate with today’s listeners. We aim to bridge the gap
between classical traditions and modern sensibilities, offering fresh,
compelling works that speak to both heart and intellect while honoring
the rich legacy of classical music. With artistic innovation and a
focus on accessibility, we strive to inspire both seasoned classical
listeners and new audiences.
New Jersey
composers Robert W. Butts, Michael DeMaio, and David Williams are
the three composers who have created the exciting opportunity for
audiences and composers to experience new concert compositions
performed by New Jersey's leading artists.
