This Week:   Maple Sugaring Demos February 23 Learn how to identify and tap maple trees, collect sap, and make real maple syrup over a wood-fired evaporator. Finish with a syrup taste test! Camp Spotlight: Environmental Education Camps Wild Explorers Ages: 11-14 | Dates: July 28- August 1 | Time: 9 am -3 pm | Cost: $400 Location: Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area, 472 Boonton Ave, Boonton, NJ 07005 In this camp, our oldest campers venture into nature each day, discovering diverse habitats, learning about local wildlife, and participating in exciting outdoor activities. Every day brings new adventures and valuable lessons, fostering a deeper connection to the natural world. Look What's Coming: Garden Sprouts: Animal, Vegetable, Mineral February 26 People are more like plants than you think -- they are alive, and you are too. Using our stones as a jumping off point, this homeschool program explores the geology of the Cooper Gristmill Park. Our Tournament of Trees is in full swing, with 16 incredible contenders competing for the title of this year’s favorite. Homeschool Explorers will have the chance to discover what makes our fabulous trees stand out and get a chance to choose their favorite.
