Her only escape is the perfect couple she watches through the train window every day, happy and in love. Or so it appears. When Rachel learns that the woman she’s been secretly watching has suddenly disappeared, she finds herself as a witness and even a suspect in a thrilling mystery in which she will face bigger revelations than she could ever have anticipated.    Performance Dates:   May 2, 2025 – May 18, 2025   Director: Holly J. Kowalenko Co-Producers: Roberta Steve & Cynthia Stetz   The Director is seeking the following:   4 Males 3 Females   Character Gender/Age Range Description   Rachel Watson (25-40) Rachel is the titular girl on the train. She spends a lot of the show drunk (but functional) and will be both the target and aggressor of physical and emotional aggression.   Megan Hipwell (25-35) Megan Hipwell is the girl Rachel wants to be. She’s a beautiful hipster who looks like she has the world at her feet, a woman that other women want to be, and one that men easily fall in love with. She will be the target of physical violence and discuss sensitive content matters around child loss.   Anna Watson (25-35) Tom’s new wife, who he had an affair with before leaving Rachel. She is living in the house that Tom and Rachel bought together and believes that Rachel is harassing Tom and is attempting to win him back.   D.I. Gaskill (Any) D.I Gaskill is the lead detective on Megan Hipwell’s case, and the only truly objective person in the show.   Tom Watson (30-40) Tom is Rachel’s ex-husband, who is now married to Anna. He is very charming and uses this to his advantage to attract women.   Scott Hipwell (25-35) Scott is Megan’s husband. He is very possessive of Megan, and after finding out about her infidelity, threatens to kill her, which makes him a prime suspect in her disappearance.   Kamal Abdic (Any) Kamal is Megan’s therapist, and has been helping her to work through her troubled past and find her sense of self. He has a short but impactful romantic relationship with Megan, which he ends after regretting the unethical infringement.   SPECIAL NOTES FOR AUDITIONERS   NOTE: Readings will be from the script.   NOTE: English accents will be required for all characters.   NOTE: ACTORS CAST MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL PERFORMANCE DATES AND ENTIRE TECH WEEK.   Please bring your theater resume and headshot if you have these.
