The application period is now open for LONJ's second
annual Stars of Tomorrow Competition, a vocal competition for
New Jersey High School students. The competition will consist of a
qualifying round based on videos that students submit online. The
application deadline is March 1, 2025.
Finalists will perform live in front of a distinguished
panel of judges on April 5, 2025, at 2 PM at St. Mark's Episcopal Church
in Basking Ridge, NJ. Prizes are $1000 for first place and an
appearance in an upcoming LONJ Main Stage production, $500 for
second place and $250 for third place as determined by the judges, $100
for the audience favorite.
According to Jason Tramm, Executive Producer, "LONJ
is committed to finding and presenting the best New Jersey high
school-aged musical theater and opera talent. We will be eagerly
looking forward to reviewing the submissions with top professionals
from the vocal field!"
