and community groups are invited to view a
new exhibition at RVCC,
Anne Frank in
Translation,
on display January 6-May
15.
The
eight-panel exhibition highlights Anne
Frank’s enduring legacy and her role as a
powerful symbol of the Holocaust.
Anne
Frank in Translation illuminates the
process of Holocaust commemoration and the
role played by editors, publishers,
translators, playwrights, curators,
composers, and performers through the
preservation and publication of Anne
Frank’s story as shared in her well-known
diary. The traveling exhibit is paired with
copies of the diary printed in multiple
languages, including Spanish, Dutch, Hindi,
Farsi, Hebrew, Korean, and French.
