Engage in a virtual walkthrough of
two Jewish Museum exhibitions featuring artists who use the
language of graphic arts to confront the legacies of white
supremacy, antisemitism, and racism. First, explore the Museum's
current show, Draw Them In, Paint Them Out: Trenton Doyle
Hancock Confronts Philip Guston, which brings together
the work of two trailblazing American artists from different
generations for the first time. Then, experience Art Spiegelman's Co-Mix: A Retrospective
(November 8, 2013 – March 23, 2014), which celebrated the career of
Art Spiegelman, best known for Maus, a Pulitzer
Prize-winning graphic novel about his parents' survival of the
Holocaust.

Each virtual tour, which includes a
Q&A, is led by a Jewish Museum educator via Zoom.

Amedeo Modigliani and Marc Chagall through the lens of two Jewish
Museum exhibitions—Modigliani:
Unmasked (September 15, 2017 – February 4, 2018) and Chagall:
Love, War, and Exile (September 15, 2013 – February 2,
2014)—and learn how Modigliani and Chagall respectively confronted
antisemitism and pushed cultural boundaries in their art.
