In Recognition for Our Veterans

Livingston Library Community,

Veteran’s Day is a time to reflect on the bravery, selflessness, and courage of those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. On this Veteran’s Day, we look forward to expressing our gratitude to those whose bravery and sacrifices protect our freedom. As we look to learn and honor our veterans, the library invites you to join us on Monday, November 11th at 7pm for the lecture Hollywood and the Airforce in WWII.

During this lecture, we will explore how Hollywood played a significant role in supporting the armed focus during WWII, particularly through recruitment and morale boosting films. We will also explore the military careers of actors such as Jimmy Stewart, Clark Gable, and Gregory Peck. Registration is not required for this event and all are welcome to attend.
