The conversation will be facilitated by Jazlyne Sabree, artist, educator, and 2024-25 African American Cultural Committee Founders Fellow. A book signing with Judge Pratt will follow.

Nadia Myre, Beading on a Grand Scale: The 38th Annual Julia Norton Babson Lecture

Join us for a thought-provoking conversation with Montreal-based artist Nadia Myre and her studio manager, Kelly Bernard, as they explore Myre's innovative approach to Native beadwork and weaving. The discussion will center around Sharing Platform (New Technologies) (2018), a large ceramic basket currently on view, as well as Myre’s research process, choice of materials, and her work's engagement with transcultural histories and language.
