online discussion with author
Anna Salton Eisen,

Anna Salton Eisen was an adult when she finally broke
her parents’ silence about their Holocaust experiences. In her
moving memoir, Pillar of Salt, she recounts her accidental
discovery, as a youth, of two watercolor paintings by her father
that depicted the horrors of the Holocaust.
In Pillar of Salt, Eisen combines the meticulous
work of an archaeologist with the compassion of a daughter,
courageously embracing her legacy as a second-generation descendant
of Holocaust survivors.
The program is free of charge and open to the public.
