Celebrate
Thanksgiving with the Library
|
|
|
Livingston Library
Community, Thanksgiving is a
time to reflect on the things that we are thankful for. This year we
have events scheduled for all ages to help you express gratitude and
celebrate the season.
Adults are welcome
to join us on Wednesday, November 20th, at 2 p.m. for the workshop Building a Positive
Mindset Through Gratitude. As we approach the holiday
season,embracing gratitude
can help relieve stress and increase joy, but it isn’t always easy.
During this presentation, we will learn how thoughts, feelings, and
actions impact one another and affect our daily lives. We will also
explore avoiding negative thinking and creating a positive mindset to
embrace joy more freely.
Those looking for
inspiration for creating yummy meals with post-holiday food will
enjoy the Library Chef virtual workshop Thanksgiving Leftovers
on Tuesday, November 19th, at 6 p.m. During this workshop, we will
learn how to use leftovers for more than just sandwiches. You can
learn more about this workshop and how to register here.
This workshop will also be archived for later viewing.
