MEET THE CAST

 

 




 


 

Gene Wilder was born June 11, 1933 In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is best known for comedic roles in films such as The Producers (1967), Blazing Saddles (1974), Young Frankenstein (1974), but most notably, the titular character in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971). In 2005, he released a memoir "Kiss Me Like a Stranger" - a title that came from words Gilda Radner spoke to him.

Gilda Radner was born on June 28, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan and attended University Liggett School in Detroit then the University of Michigan - where she eventually dropped out. She broke grounds landing the freshman cast (first cast) of Saturday Night Live in 1975. There, she created iconic characters such as Roseanne Roseannadanna. She wrote an autobiography titled "It's Always Something," highlighting her life in the limelight.
