Poulenc’s Homage to Winds
|

This outstanding
collection of internationally renowned wind players, joined by CMS
favorite Michael Stephen Brown, offers ensemble classics from the
18th through the 20th centuries. All the instruments gather for
Poulenc’s effervescent Sextet, which he described as “an homage to
the wind instruments I have loved from the moment I began
composing.”
