Kate
Baldwin is a two-time Tony®
Award and four-time Drama Desk Award nominee who has
delighted audiences across the country with performances on
Broadway, in concert and on television.
She's best
known for her Broadway performances in Hello, Dolly!
(alongside Bette Midler), Big Fish, and Finian's
Rainbow.
Additional
credits include Superhero at 2ST, The
Bridges of Madison County at Bucks County
Playhouse, 42nd Street at Goodspeed
Opera House, The King and I at the Lyric
Opera of Chicago, and many more!

Joining Ms. Baldwin will be Broadway veteran Nicholas
Rodriguez (Company, Tarzan, The Sound of Music Nat'l Tour) as
the Legionnaire, along with Niara Beckwith and WobirbaEkubaSarpey as
Debaters.

abilities, and build social connections through the power of play!
Join us on Saturday mornings where every class is a new adventure
exploring classic stories, fun theatre games, movement and
storytelling.

Hospitality Showcase
|
|
|
|
|
|
This
past week, George Street Playhouse participated in
the Rutgers Hospitality Showcase. This FREE expo
located right at our beautiful NBPAC, is where local businesses
come together to showcase how they impact our community!
The George Street Playhouse
staff was able to connect with other local businesses and
Rutgers staff alike, sharing what's to come for each
company, prize opportunities, and more.

JOY had its world premiere at George Street
Playhouse on December 10, 2022, in NBPAC's Elizabeth Ross
Johnson Theater. Based on the memoir Inventing Joy:
Dare to Build a Brave and Creative Life, and the
movie of the same name (which starred Jennifer Lawrence), JOY
tells the success story of QVC's Joy Mangano. The
musical featured a score by AnnMarieMilazzo and book
by Tony®-winning producer KenDavenport. It starred
Broadway veterans such as Erika Henningsen (MeanGirls)
in the title role, along with TrentSaunders (Hadestown),
VickiLewis (Anastasia), HazelAnneRaymundo (AvenueQ)
and Stephen De Rosa (Little Shop of Horrors).
