SPECIAL NOTES FOR AUDITIONERS
Please follow the link below for Signup Genius and
sign up for a 90-minute time slot on either Saturday, August 24th or
Sunday, August 25th.
There are 15 available audition slots within each
90-minute block.
Please plan to stay for the duration of the 90-minute
block. Thank you!

For those auditioning for the roles of the Orphans,
please prepare to sing both
“You’re Never Fully Dressed” and “Tomorrow.”
Please see the following file with the sheet music and
music tracks for both of these songs.

For all others auditioning, please prepare 30 seconds of a
song that showcases your singing voice,
it may be from this show but does not have to be.
You are encouraged to bring a song track to sing with, but
if you prefer, bring sheet music in the correct key,
and an accompanist will be provided.

Please wear comfortable clothing, as there will be a dance
portion of the audition, following the singing portion.
All auditioners will receive an email with a video of the
dance routine for the audition, at least one week before the audition.
Please review and practice the dance routine ahead of
time, as the routine will be reviewed, but not taught, at the
audition.

Please bring your theater resume and headshot if you have
these.
Please be prepared to have your photo taken, for audition
purposes only, if you do not bring a headshot.
** Please print and bring this completed audition form
with you:
We will also have blank forms available at the auditions.
Please be prepared to list all potential rehearsal
conflicts on the back of your audition form.
*** Significant conflicts which arise after casting may
result in a role being recast.

The role of Sandy, the dog, will be cast in
September.
All cast members must be comfortable being around a dog
who will be backstage.
Sandy will be on a leash when backstage.

There will be callbacks on Tuesday Aug 27, in the evening,
by invitation only.
If you are unable to attend the auditions on Aug 24 and
Aug 25,
please email the director at vp_theatre@svptheatre.org with “Annie Audition” in
the subject line,
and request the dance routine video to be sent to you.
Please then submit your video audition to the same email
address, by Saturday Aug 24. Be sure to include:
1) Your singing audition (both
provided songs if you are auditioning for an orphan),
2) your dance audition,
3) your completed and signed
audition form,
4) your theater resume (if you
have one), and
5) a headshot or photo of
yourself
