2024 New Jersey Arts Annual: Exploring our Connections

Open to the Public on Saturday, September 28

See over 60 works from New Jersey artists that explore past and present themes of family, community, and belonging, in relation to identity, diversity, and inclusion. Conceptually and stylistically diverse, these works in multiple mediums embody exceptional craftsmanship, inspire creativity, and entice the viewer to take a closer look.

Nanette Carter: Shifting Perspectives

Open to the Public on Saturday, September 28

A new monumental work is coming to Laurie Art Stairway. Throughout her career, Nanette Carter has used the language of abstraction—shape, line, color, and texture—to reflect the world around her through large Mylar collages. The work coming to MAM reinterprets one of her earlier collages and transforms it into a vibrant and striking mural.
