Fridays, 7–9 p.m.

This summer is the perfect time to gather your friends and try your hands at the potter’s wheel. Participants will make weel-thrown objects such as cups, bowls, or vases in a relaxed and fun environment.

This event is BYOB, 21 and over.

SummerART Access Camp:Art Camp Tailored for Kids with Disabilities

August 5–16

This Access version of our Studio Art Camp is designed for campers with disabilities. Camp will be held at the Salvation Army Montclair Citadel, 13 Trinity Place, with special excursions to the Museum. It is perfect for kids who thrive best in smaller classes with personalized attention and extra support.

Join us for the final summer session of Art in the Afternoon, an artistic social gathering for adults ages 55+ and their friends. Enjoy hands-on art activities inspired by our permanent collection and special exhibitions. Bring your favorite beverage or refreshments and stay after the program to socialize.

Step back in time at MedievalFest, hosted by Montclair Early Music (MEM) at MAM! Enjoy a day of knightly sparring, Viking games, lively music, and a bustling marketplace with handcrafted treasures and delicious refreshments. Don your best period attire and join the fun for a family-friendly adventure through the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras. Huzzah!

MAM Instructor Spotlight

Wine and Wheel Workshops

Meet one of MAM's dedicated art instructors!

Deborah Guzmán Meyer is a Montclair-based artist by way of Chicago, NYC, and the Dominican Republic. She earned her BA at Pace University and MFA at Columbia College in Chicago. She likes to think of herself as a modern Renaissance woman, curious about all forms of art and willing and able to try her hand at it. Art is why she gets up in the morning.
