JSAC Director of Events & Programs Jeanne Power-Galli stated, “With Brookdale Public Radio 90.5 The Night on board, as well as a growing list of businesses including Comfort Zone/Emporium, Day’s Ice Cream, Kearny Bank, Laingdon Hotel, and SeaGrass Restaurant in Ocean Grove; Cookman Creamery, Flavia’s, Moonstruck, and Pascal & Sabine in Asbury Park; and Il Posto in Neptune, we are thrilled at the enthusiastic support for this unique singer/songwriter concert series. Not only will we now have exceptional musical entertainment right here at JSAC, we will also be providing an important community service through a new partnership with Musicians On A Mission (MOAM), a non-profit organization dedicated to creating connection and inspiring giving through music. MOAM will be on hand at all seven of the concerts, collecting donations that will be split between JSAC and a charity chosen for each concert.”
Split Level Concerts began as a house concert series in 2000 and grew to eventually present shows at the JCC of Central NJ in Scotch Plains and the Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway. Mark Klemow, the founder of the series said, “The initial response has been tremendous. Tickets are selling and sponsorships are rolling in. We are thrilled to provide an excellent listening experience at a ticket price that won’t break the bank!”
The Jersey Shore Arts Center, located at 66 S. Main Street in Ocean Grove, offers a diverse array of programming that promotes the arts, provides educational experiences, engages the community, and supports local artists.
