the phenomenal Grammy-nominated Nat Adderley, Jr.! He's a sensational
American R&B and pop music arranger and pianist who skyrocketed to
fame as the music director for Luther Vandross - he was also co-writer
on most of Vandross's albums. Nat is also featured in the upcoming
documentary Luther: Never Too Much which premiered at Sundance in
January and will be released in 2025.
Talk about talent running in
the family – his father, Nat Adderley, was a renowned composer and jazz
cornet and trumpet player, and his uncle was legendary alto
saxophonist, Cannonball Adderley. Nat has returned to his jazz roots,
and we are in for a treat! Prepare to be captivated as he takes us on a
musical journey, covering his own arrangements and compositions while
also paying homage to the legacy of his illustrious father and uncle.
