At Vanguard
Theater Company, we nurture excellence at every
stage, from our youngest #VANguardians to our professional
performers on the main stage. Our commitment is to instill a deep
sense of self-worth and belonging within a vibrant community of
creativity & growth.
In 2017, we created SummerstockVTC to give our young artists a true
residential performing arts experience comparable to, but more
accessible than, the best performing arts programs in the country.
Inspired by our founder’s teen experience at Interlochen
Academy, we started SummerstockVTC in 2017 to help kids of all
backgrounds build skills, confidence, and friendships.
Our camp breaks barriers, offering a top-notch theater experience in
an inclusive, supportive environment. We believe in making this
opportunity available to everyone, regardless of their ability to
pay.
