Exciting News From Hudson Theatre Works

Greetings!

We wanted to take a moment to thank you for being a supporter of Hudson Theatre Works and to share with you the big news and changes that are currently underway.

For the past 11 years Hudson Theatre Works has been committed to bringing thought-provoking and high quality, live theater to the community. We have a tremendous amount of pride in being a non-profit arts organization whose goal is to ensure that the cost of a ticket doesn’t deter anyone from experiencing the power of live performance. We know you share our passion for the theater and once again thank you for your support over the past decade. Together we have pushed the boundaries of creativity forward.

Exciting News

As you may have heard, Hudson Theatre Works will have a new future home! In recognition of our contribution to the arts and culture in Weehawken, we have been given the opportunity to utilize the future Performing Arts Center (see above) currently planned for the Weehawken waterfron

The Show Will Go On

As we make the transition to the Performing Arts Center we will be temporarily moving back to the Weehawken Water Tower.

In our earlier years we loved the artistic challenges presented by working in the Tower. Although the space was limited when it came to the lighting and set design, there was a certain ambience to it that helped us develop our unique style of bringing the actors and audience into a deep and intimate relationship.  We fondly remember the time in the Tower when our production of Keith Huff’s A Steady Rain was named a Top 10 choice by The Star-Ledger.

Coming In The Fall

For the fall we are thrilled to announce that we have found a more than worthy successor to last November’s critically acclaimed production of Harold Pinter’s The Dumb Waiter and The Lover: our upcoming run of Brian Friel’s haunting masterpiece The Faith Healer

As we move forward with this new season, we can’t accomplish it without your continued support.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today so we can keep offering stimulating, funny and life-changing live theater events for all ages. You are a vital part of the Hudson Theatre Works family and any size gift is greatly appreciated.

From all of us at Hudson Theatre Works, thank you for your consideration.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
