Uncontained: Reimagining Basketry
Curated
by Carol Eckert, Uncontained:
Reimagining Basketry features the
works of 14 artists that challenge and expand
the traditional boundaries of basketry.
These
artists bridge past and present, merging
age-old techniques with contemporary
expressions reflecting the practices of the
earliest basketmakers while addressing
contemporary issues like environmental concerns
and social commentary.

Debra Ramsay: Flying Colors
Curated
by Mary Birmingham, Flying Colors
is a multi-sensory exploration into the visual
and auditory world of birdwatching, blending
color, technology, and art.
Inspired
by bird migrations through New York's Central
Park, Ramsay captures the fleeting presence of
these birds in a series of abstract paintings
on translucent acrylic panels. The installation
features bird songs and calls, offering a
dynamic and ephemeral experience akin to
spotting birds in their habitat.
