In part 1 of
this workshop, visitors will work like Victorian era naturalists to find
and collect plant materials for pressing. Your day includes a tour of the
Cooper Gristmill and nearby Black River, followed by pressing the

Nature’s Crafty
Creations

Nature is
full of spectacular creations! This series highlights the changing
seasons each month with a story and craft. This week we will celebrate
the native wildflowers of New Jersey and create a bouquet to take home! Register

Spring
Birdwatching for Adults

Later
migrants are still arriving while others have begun to mate and nest.
It's the perfect time to get outside with a pair of binoculars to listen
and look for them as they feed and look for mates. Our naturalist will
give you tips on identification, share fun facts about the species'
lives, and lead you to the best spots for birding. All skill levels
welcome. Bring binoculars or borrow ours. Register

Art in Bloom

Join us for
a magnificent art show featuring local artists' original paintings
accompanied by floral arrangement interpretations of their work. All the
artworks will be available for sale. This year's Art in Bloom will take
place in the Frelinghuysen Arboretum's Mansion. If you would like to

Colors of Spring

drawing class will be taught outdoors by Instructor Alex Polner, an
artist specialized in soft pastels. This class is for beginners who love
