Broadway in the Park: Mother's Day Edition!

 

Broadway in the Park is BACK and we're celebrating Mother's Day!   Join us on May 12th (Mother's Day) at 4:30pm at the Memorial Park Amphitheater in Maplewood for the biggest celebration of Broadway in North Jersey! This year, come hear these amazing local Broadway moms sing songs about motherhood as we all celebrate Mother's Day together! Admission is free with a $15 suggested donation which will go directly toward programming like this. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to The Woodland in Maplewood.   A huge thank you to our Broadway in the Park sponsors this year, who are all local, MOM-OWNED businesses!       Coming Up!     The SOMA backStage Reading Series provides a platform for new plays and musicals to be showcased in a public presentation.  You will get the unique opportunity to see these new works in their earliest form and provide feedback to help shape the future of their development.  RESERVE SEATS NOW! Casting to be announced shortly!       We are so excited to have partnered with the South Orange Performing Arts Center!  SOMA Stage and Artistic Director Dana Spialter have been selected to represent the Broadway branch of the newly formed Creative Community Brain Trust.  The CCBT is a committee of five advisors and industry experts that will guide SOPAC toward inclusively excellent, radically creative, and community-powered programming.
