The March 30 reception for our 38th Annual Juried Art Exhibition was a resounding success! Included in this post are photos of some of the evening's highlights, taken by Robert Szpila.

I congratulate all our members and nonmembers for entering this year's juried exhibit. The caliber of work gets better each year. I would like to extend my appreciation to Evan Marshall and Bob Szpila for doing behind-the-scenes tasks; to Chris Elvin for her help in arranging the show; and to the team who hang the paintings (Evan Marshall, Bob Szpila, Chris Elvin and Lynne Palmer). The exceptional attendance at the reception to view the art on display made the evening even more exciting. Congratulations to the award recipients—very well deserved. In my view, everyone who enters work in the show is an award winner. Keep creating art in whatever your medium is, and I look forward to seeing everyone in October for the WEAA Members' Exhibit.

OCTOBER MEMBERS' SHOW

sending out the prospectus in mid-August.
SMALL WORKS SHOW
This year we are adding a small works show in December! Receiving will be on Saturday, December 7, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Additional details to come.
