Upcoming ATG Events!

Monday, April 29th, at 7pm
Hamilton Stage

Join us for our next Monday Night Play reading as we present the delightful comedy Larry The Big-Time Broadway Producer. Larry Greenstein is a young Bostonian who wants to invest in Broadway shows. He attends a backers' audition and falls so head over heels in love with an actress cast in the play that he pledges $10,000 — money he doesn’t have. How can he possibly get it? Written by celebrated author and Broadway insider Peter Filichia, this heartwarming story unlocks the dreamer in all of us. The reading will be directed by Joe Mancuso, who has over 40 years of experience as an artist, educator and arts/business administrator and is one of ATG's founders. Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.

Get your tickets now for the World Premiere of Canned Goods, a "must see" new play by Erik Kahn. This historical drama focuses on the little-known incident which contributed to the launch of World War II. It is a harrowing account of Hitler's devious strategy to fake an attack on Germany to justify his invasion of Poland in 1939. At its core, it is a psychological entanglement between prisoners with hours left to live and the SS Major who engages and spars with them. This is a drama you will be thinking about long after the final blackout. Watch for a Q&A feature with Director Charlotte Cohn later this week.
