Let NJPAC help you
“spring” into action with two powerful Standing
in Solidarity (SIS) programs, these are free conversations
and PSEG True Diversity
Film screenings that promote social and racial equality.
On April 15 at 7PM there is a virtual program on Aging with Pride: Challenges for the LGBTQ+
Community. A panel comprised of activists and healthcare
professionals will discuss structural and societal barriers to healthy
aging. Gen Silent,
the PSEG True Diversity
Film, can be watched in advance at home.
Then in honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the
Arts Center will host an in-person program May 6 at 6PM on Chinese and Black Allyship. The evening
includes a screening of Far
East Deep South, a PSEG
True Diversity Film selection, about symbiotic ties between
Chinese and Black residents in the Jim Crow South. A live panel follows
with the film’s producer and other experts on immigration and identity.
We look forward to welcoming you to upcoming Standing in Solidarity events!
