Comedic confusion takes the stage as the Westfield Community Players conclude their season with a British farce.

Seventy-five years almost to the day when this play had its American premiere in Plainfield, the frenetic activities that roil a quiet English community still brings laughs as the antics unfold.

See How They Run is a high-spirited madcap story in the tradition of British comedy and farce. Mistaken identities, past loves and a little drink or two blend into a story full of physical comedy and laughs galore. When two old flames coincidentally meet up one September afternoon, they have a reunion that ignites everyone down the road of confusion, misidentification, and surprises—with an escaped prisoner getting involved.

This talented cast includes Ruth Kliwinsky, Timothy Mc Govern, Stephen A. Menella, Corrine Hower-Greene, Christie Storms, Paul Arfanis, David Baker, Allan Gershenson and Jason W. Fuchs. The director is Bill Seesselberg, producer is Lois Stevens, and Ed Bontempo is stage manager and costumer.

See How They Run  is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc., and is made possible by funds from the Union County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
