INTRODUCING SHAKESPEARE'S PLAYHOUSE!   An exciting addition to our Summer Shakespeare programming, Shakespeare’s Playhouse is a fun and playful introduction to the world of theater for students.   MIDSUMMER MAGIC (AGES 6-9) Inspired by one of Shakespeare’s most famous comedies, our Midsummer Magicians will spend their week with us exploring Shakespeare’s play through improv games, character creation, and prop and costume arts and crafts. The perfect place for your aspiring fairies and hobgoblins!       July 29 – August 2, 2024 Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. $400 per student ($50 discount for returning students, subscribers, and siblings)     WITCHES AND WARRIORS (AGES 10-12)   By the pricking of our thumbs, something wicked this way comes…Our Witches and Warriors will explore Shakespeare’s Macbeth through theater games, DIY prop and costume creation, stage combat, and ensemble building.       July 29 - August 2, 2024 Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. $400 per student ($50 discount for returning students, subscribers, and siblings)         REGISTRATION OPEN FOR THE SUMMER SHAKESPEARE CORPS!   The Summer Shakespeare Corps combines professional acting instruction and classic literature in a creative environment where students develop self-confidence and creativity and engage in teamwork and collaboration — all in the setting of an acclaimed regional theatre.   JUNIOR CORPS (AGES 10-14)   The Junior Corps is an affordable acting program for all types of kids, from first-time performers to budding stars. Members of the Junior Corps participate in daily classes under the direction of The Shakespeare Theatre's education staff, and meet with the Theatre's professional resident artists in master classes and discussions.   July 15 – July 26, 2024 Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  $1,100 per student ($100 discount for returning students, subscribers, and siblings)     SENIOR CORPS (AGES 14-18)   The Senior Corps is an affordable acting intensive for teens who are serious about growing as performers. Building on the skills introduced at the Junior Corps level, the Senior Corps features a special focus on Shakespeare and the individual actor. The three-week session culminates in a final Saturday Shakespeare presentation. Prior participation in the Junior Corps is not required.
